"I ordered a brisket sandwich, a link sandwich, and a Texas Twinkie. The food was all delicious. The sandwiches have so much meat that I was able to make myself two sandwiches from each one. Great taste and great portions! I’m a Rudy’s bbq girl but man are they far and lack in flavor compared to J&J’s! Update: I tried the 7up cake and it is soft, moist, absolutely incredible!!"

Every time we come we tell ourselves we are going to try more of the menu, knowing that it's ALL GOOD, but the whole family always comes back to the Fat Boy Sandwich with its macaroni and cheese layer added to the barbecue because it is so incredibly delicious! "I can't post any photos as I have already eaten my food but I love this place J&J BBQ the food music atmosphere staff are great I love it the fish is excellent as well as the rolls which have a sweet taste which only means you can't just eat one. This place kinda reminds me of Gilleys. I love everything about this place J&J BBQ‼"

"I came today for my birthday wanting to try something new ! The guy there was very nice . I got the rotel nachos with Doritos and two meats . Brisket and ribs . It was great, the bbq sauce was spicy . It was fulfilling and worth every bit . The bbq was amazing no fat !"

"Ribs: 8/10 The ribs are on point! The bark has a deep, smoky color with a nice peppery rub. There’s visible moisture and a good smoke ring on the meat. They are tender and not overcooked — that perfect bite-through rib texture. Potato Salad: 7/10 Creamy and classic-looking potato salad. Good chunk size, rich color, and you can see the seasoning plus bits of relish in it. It tastes homemade and not overly processed, which is a win. Baked Beans: 6.5/10 The beans are hearty with a thick sauce and seasoning. They have that barbecue-joint glaze going on. If you’re ever in the Forney area check out this place out."

"I have been here twice and the food is always DELICIOUS!! The first time I had the lamb chop plate with baked beans and macaroni and cheese. Them Lamb Chops though… seasoned to perfection and tender! Baked beans were very good as well as the macaroni. The second time I tried the oxtails with a side of macaroni and greens. Everything was so good and it seems like the macaroni was even creamier than the last time! I even had leftover oxtail which I warmed up in the oven the next day and ate it with my dinner. I’ll definitely be back."
